Operational Support That Stays with Your Team
Every engagement we deliver produces something your team keeps — a checklist, a worksheet, a living runbook. The knowledge does not walk out of the room when the session ends.
Back to HomeWhat You Get with Halcyon Compute
Six operational benefits, each grounded in how model deployment teams actually work — not in how advisory services typically position themselves.
Written Outputs, Always
Every engagement ends with a tangible document — a readiness rubric, tuning worksheet, or maintained runbook. Session notes that exist only in someone's head do not survive team turnover or incident response.
Vendor-Neutral Advice
We do not have preferred vendors and do not earn referral fees. Our guidance is based on operational principle — which means it applies to your current stack and does not require you to change it to work with us.
Whole-Team Engagement
Our sessions are designed for the team, not for one person to attend and report back. Facilitated participation means your engineers leave with shared understanding, not just one person's notes.
Structured, Scalable Engagements
Start with a focused half-day walkthrough and progress to a workshop or retainer as operational needs grow. Each level is useful independently. You are not locked into a progression.
Plain Communication
We write and speak in plain language. Readiness summaries are written for the engineer who needs to act on them — not for the stakeholder who commissioned the engagement. You will not need to translate our reports.
Confidentiality by Default
What you share with us stays with us. We treat all client information as confidential by default and do not cross-reference operational setups between engagements.
Practitioners, Not Generalists
Halcyon Compute is a team of specialists in deployment operations, not a generalist advisory firm that covers ML among other topics. Each of our facilitators has spent years working directly on serving infrastructure, operational documentation, and team-level deployment practices.
We have worked across batch inference, real-time endpoints, and scheduled prediction pipelines. We understand the difference between a monitoring setup that looks complete and one that will actually alert you to something worth knowing.
What Our Expertise Covers
- Model packaging and versioning practices for production
- Rollback planning and incident escalation paths
- Inference serving patterns: batching, caching, concurrency
- Monitoring design for actionable alerting
- Runbook writing and operational documentation standards
Our Engagement Process
- 01Initial enquiry and scope discussion — we understand what your team needs before proposing a session type
- 02Pre-session preparation — we review any materials you share so session time is well-used
- 03Facilitated session — structured but adaptive to what comes up during the discussion
- 04Written output delivered within three business days — rubric, worksheet, or runbook depending on engagement type
- 05Follow-up note with open items and any agreed next steps
Clear Steps, Consistent Delivery
Each engagement follows a consistent process that we have refined across multiple teams. You know what to expect at each stage and what you will receive at the end. There are no open-ended discovery phases that expand in scope without a corresponding change in the engagement agreement.
For retainer clients, the process includes scheduled review calls and a maintained runbook that reflects decisions made across the engagement period — not just the ones made in the first session.
Transparent Pricing, No Hidden Scope
Our pricing is published. The Deployment Readiness Walkthrough is RM 560. The Serving Pipeline Tuning Workshop is RM 1,540. The three-month Operations Advisory Retainer is RM 2,760. These are flat fees that include facilitation, written outputs, and follow-up notes.
If you want to run a session and then make an independent decision about whether further engagement is warranted, that is the expected path. There is no pressure to upgrade and no mechanism by which the scope of an engagement expands without your agreement.

RM 1,540 — Pipeline Tuning Workshop

Distinctive Features
The Readiness Rubric
Our readiness walkthrough produces a scored rubric — not a narrative report with general recommendations. The rubric gives your team a clear picture of which areas are in order, which need attention, and in what sequence to address them.
The Living Runbook
Retainer clients receive a living runbook — a document we actively maintain and update throughout the engagement. It reflects current decisions, not just the ones made at the start. When the engagement ends, the document is yours.
The Tuning Worksheet
The pipeline workshop produces a tuning worksheet structured around your actual serving setup — not a generic template. It documents the configurations explored, the reasoning behind each, and the options that were considered but not taken.
Staged Engagement Model
Each engagement tier is complete in itself. A team can do the walkthrough and stop there. They can return for the workshop six months later. They can move to the retainer when scale demands it. There is no minimum commitment beyond the session you book.
